The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted the internationally renowned researcher and professor based at the University of Zurich, Dr. Ardian Jusufi.
Congratulating him on his outstanding achievements in the fields of artificial intelligence and biologically inspired robotics, Prime Minister Kurti thanked Dr. Jusufi for serving as an exemplary representative of the Albanian diaspora around the world.
In addition to discussing the opportunities offered by this sector in Europe, the meeting focused on concrete ways to advance the field of robotics in the Republic of Kosovo.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasised that he welcomed cooperation with Dr. Jusufi, who represents an important pillar in Kosovo’s future development as a member of the diaspora who has achieved remarkable success abroad and remains committed to contributing to the development of our country.
In recognition of his work and research, Dr. Jusufi was recently shortlisted for the Falling Walls Foundation Science Breakthrough of the Year award. He earned his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed his postdoctoral studies at the University of Cambridge and Harvard University.
