The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received a delegation from Vespa Fanatics Prishtina, led by the club’s president, Enis Berkolli, who also serves as President of Vespa Club Kosova.
Expressing his support, Acting Prime Minister Kurti thanked them for promoting Kosovo through international events both at home and abroad. The meeting focused on preparations for the Vespa Festival Prishtina 2026, which will take place in the capital on 5–6 September.
Representatives of the club stated that the festival is expected to bring together Vespa clubs from more than ten countries, including Albania, North Macedonia, Croatia, Türkiye, Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Spain, and Mexico.
The event is also expected to host distinguished guests, including Mauro Calestrini, President of the Vespa World Club; Marco Manzoli, Secretary of the Piaggio Group and Secretary of the Vespa World Club; Rossella Fugaro, representative of the Vespa Trophy; as well as other representatives of Vespa Club Europa.
An important part of the discussion focused on the club’s application and preparations to host the European Vespisti Week 2028 festival in Kosovo.
Vespa Fanatics Prishtina has around 120 members, more than 30 of whom are women.
Last month, the club participated in the European Vespisti Week 2026 in Ostend, Belgium, and the Vespa World Days 2026 in Rome, Italy.
