The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received the Director and Founder of the International Monodrama Festival “MonoAkt”, actor and director Mentor Zymberaj, together with the Ukrainian artist Nina Mazur, Vice-President of the International Monodrama Forum, who opened the 18th edition of the festival in Kosovo.
“MonoAkt has now become a traditional festival and a special platform for the cultivation of monodrama in Kosovo and beyond. Through its editions, the festival has brought artists, performances, workshops and professional exchanges from different countries, enriching our theater scene and connecting it with international monodrama networks,” emphasized Acting Prime Minister Kurti.
The meeting discussed the program of this edition, the further development of the festival and the importance of spaces and events that create bridges of cooperation between artists, the public and different cultures.
Acting Prime Minister Kurti said that “it was a special pleasure to get to know more closely the work of Nina Mazur, who has been living and working in Germany for more than two decades, an important name in the field of monodrama, engaged in international theater networks and in the promotion of this genre at a global level”.
He congratulated the “MonoAkt” Festival for this successful edition, with new artistic contributions and with continuity in the development of this rare theater form in our country.
