The First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, together with the Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla – Schwarz, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla and the General Director of the Police, Gazmend Hoxha, paid tribute on the Memorial Day of Policemen Fallen in the Line of Duty and the 13th anniversary of the death of the Hero Enver Zymeri, near the headstone of the policemen who fell in the line of duty.
In this ceremony, the work of Hero Enver Zymeri was commemorated and honored, as well as that of all the policemen who fell in the line of duty.
In the note of this day, the deed and the fall of the hero of Kosovo, Afrim Bunjaku, who fell in defense of the country’s constitutionality and legality, were commemorated.
Our heroes gave their lives in the service of the country fulfilling the high state duty in search of the protection of order, the applicability of the law but also the integrity and territorial sovereignty.
