The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted the meeting of the Ministry of State for the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom, James Heappey.
In the meeting, there was talk about an excellent relationship between the Republic of Kosovo and the United Kingdom and about the opportunities that will increase even more in the field of defense.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked him for the visit and the stages of Kosovo’s life in all that is happening in it, as he congratulated him on the coronation of King Charles III and Camilla’s Kingdom.
He informed Minister Heappey about the progress of Kosovo in these two years of governance, emphasizing that Kosovo has finished starting both for the economic growth of the GDP, as well as for its investments and growth.
After highlighting the budget in the field of defense, he assessed all these battles of the United Kingdom in the direction of co-operations, training and new military equipment.
So far 28 cadets of the Kosovo Security Forces have succeeded in the military education program at the Royal Sandhurst Academy.
Minister Heappey underlined that Kosovo is a success story and must work together to promote the progress achieved here.
It was assessed that the UK’s role in the region contributes to freedom, democracy and progress, and should be as active as possible.
