The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, on the 15th anniversary of Kosovo’s Independence, received a congratulatory letter from the Prime Minister of Estonia, Kaja Kallas, in which she, on behalf of the Estonian Government and people, congratulated the Prime Minister and the people of Kosovo for the anniversary of the declaration of independence.
Among other things, in this letter, the Prime Minister of Estonia, Kallas, was particularly happy about the meeting last November in Tallinn, which she said that it was a good opportunity to reaffirm Estonia’s support for the integration of Kosovo in the EU, including visa liberalization.
“I would also like to assure you that Estonia remains a firm supporter of the European aspirations of the Republic of Kosovo. We wish you success on your way to our family in the EU”, it is further stated in Prime Minister Kallas’ letter to the Prime Minister of the country, Kurti.

On behalf of the government and people of Estonia, I have the honor to convey to you and the people of Kosovo the best wishes and the most sincere wishes on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kosovo.
I am especially happy to have personally welcomed you to Tallinn in November last year. It was a good opportunity to reaffirm Estonia’s support for Kosovo’s EU integration, including visa liberalization. It was particularly valuable to hear first-hand your and your ministers’ views on the situation in the region.
In today’s turbulent times, I highly value the good relations, sharing of common thoughts and cooperation between our countries. I would also like to assure you that Estonia remains a staunch supporter of the European aspirations of the Republic of Kosovo. We wish you every success on your way to our EU family.
I sincerely hope that the existing friendly relations between Kosovo and Estonia will further deepen our cooperation and strengthen the relations between our peoples.
