Today, the fourteenth meeting of the Strategic Planning Committee was held, during which, in addition to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue, Besnik Bislimi, the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, the Deputy Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Avni Zogiani, the Deputy Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Jeton Raka, members of the government cabinets, as well as heads of offices within the Office of the Prime Minister and line ministries were present.
During the meeting, the list of applications for the 10B round of investment grants under the Western Balkans Investment Framework or WBIF was reviewed, for which the deadline is March 7. The applications have been prepared by the line institutions, under the coordination of the Office of the Prime Minister and in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers as well as their sponsoring financial institutions, which will provide loans for the implementation of these projects.
Minister Rizvanolli presented two applications the application for an investment grant for the project “Podujevo Wastewater Treatment Plant” to be implemented in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the application for an investment grant for the project “Transmission Network Improvement VII”, to be implemented in cooperation with the German Development Bank. Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi brought to attention the need for preparation by line institutions for the 11th round of investment grants and the 32nd round of technical assistance grants for which the application deadline is June.
After the presentation, the Strategic Planning Committee approved the list of applications for further approval at the Government meeting.
