The Government of Kosovo with a new support package for non-majority communities

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the Deputy Prime Minister for Minority Affairs and Human Rights, Emilja Redžepi, the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, the Minister for Communities and Returns, Nenad Rašić and the advisor to the Prime Minister for Community Affairs, Elizabeth Gowing, held a meeting this morning in which they discussed and agreed on the new support package for non-majority communities in the country.

This package, which will initially be worth 3 million euros, contains support measures for:

– new jobs for existing and new businesses;

-farmers and small producers in rural areas;

– civil society that contributes to the integration and affirmation of non-majority communities.

Its approval is expected at the next meeting of the Government. The package aims to contribute directly to the development, well-being and integration of non-majority communities in the Republic of Kosovo through employment and production.
