The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Minister for Communities and Returns, Nenad Rashić and the Mayor of the Municipality of Kamenica, Kadri Rahimaj, had his next stop in the Municipality of Kamenica in the village of Hajnoc, which is inhabited by a majority of Serbs, with the case of laying the foundation stone of the pedestrian bridge. There he was welcomed by the representative of the village, Radovan Antiq, and the residents of the village.
The adjustment of the pedestrian bridge, which crosses the Morava River, connecting the village of Hajnoc with the city and other villages, has been a request of the residents who live there. For the realization of this project, the Municipality of Kamenica has allocated over 85 thousand euros.
During the inauguration, Prime Minister Kurti expressed that they are interested in helping as many citizens as possible, since according to him, they have proven their dedication with honest work, with civic commitment, but also with this coexistence that is example for all of Kosovo. He thanked Mayor Rahimaj and Minister Rashiq for their work and commitment in addressing and realizing this fair request and need of the residents of this village.
Radovan Antiq, a resident of the village, while expressing his gratitude for the said project, said that bridges are important for us, because they unite people and religions and unite all people with good intentions.
Meanwhile, Minister Rashiq emphasized that Prime Minister Kurti has always shown his readiness and determination to help in all the problems and challenges of our citizens and thanked the residents of the village for their initiative and the Mayor of the Municipality for the close cooperation.
Regarding the main bridge, in addition to this for pedestrians, which will connect the village of Hajnoc with the city and other surrounding villages, spoke the Mayor of the Municipality, Kadri Rahimaj, who announced that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, namely the Ministry of Environment, Planning, Spatial and Infrastructure , has already allocated 700,000 euros and said that he hopes that the procurement procedures will go smoothly this year, so that construction can start as soon as possible.
