The acting Government of the Republic of Kosovo has held an electronic meeting, in which it reviewed and approved the decision to approve the Request of the Ministry of Defense for sending the KSF Contingent to a humanitarian operation in the Republic of Albania.
By the decision of this 259th Government meeting, the financial means for sending the KSF Contingent to a humanitarian operation are provided by the Budget of the Republic of Kosovo.
The Ministry of Defense, based on the objectives and strategic planning for expanding capacities and putting these capacities into operation, is prepared to support Albania with a Contingent for humanitarian needs, namely the humanitarian search and rescue operation, in the place called “Qafën e Burrelit”, Klos Municipality. This support is within the framework of the strategic partnership with friendly countries and in particular with Albania, in this case to support the Albanian state authorities.
