The Government of the Republic of Kosovo held a regular meeting in which it approved:
-The positive opinion regarding the Legislative Initiative “The Draft Law on General Elections in the Republic of Kosovo”.
-Program for the Office for Community Affairs. The purpose of the Program for the Office for Community Affairs is the financial support and promotion of the rights and interests of non-majority communities in the Republic of Kosovo.
– Administrative project-guideline for the medical and psychological treatment of child victims of abuse, to help them in rehabilitation and re-integrate into society. With this draft administrative instruction, the responsibilities of the institutions and natural and legal persons, who work with and for the child, and who have responsibility for the protection and treatment of the child victim of abuse, are defined.
– The establishment and composition of the ad-hoc Commission for reviewing complaints in the process of recruiting candidates for the Competition Authority Commission, as follows:
1. Agron GASHI, Coordinator of the Legal Office at the Office of the Prime Minister, Chairman;
2. Fidaim SPAHIU, Budget Analyst in the Unit for Monitoring Public Enterprises/Ministry of Economy, Member;
3. Skurte KRASNIQI, Head of the Division for Better Regulation, Coordinating Secretariat of the Government in the Office of the Prime Minister, Member.
-The decision on the appointment of the Admissions Commission for State Administration Institutions for the Group: General Specialist of Political Sciences, Group No. 8, which has a two-year mandate, with this composition:
1. Shqipe Abdullahu, Official at DMZP/MIB, chairperson;
2. Lirie Berisha, Director of the Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, member;
3. Vigan Berisha, Head of the NMBNJ/MFA member;
4. Besim Berisha, Head of the Division, MFA member;
5. Arben Hajrullahu, University, member;
Substitutes for the members of the Commission:
1. Zade Kuqi, Senior Official DMZP/MIB;
2. Riza Fazliu, Head of the Inspection Sector, MESTI;
3. Hamdi Reqica, Head of Directorate, Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
4. Mirsada Voca, Head of the Division, Ministry of Justice;
5. Feim Maliqaj, Specialized organizations.
-Amending and supplementing Government Decision No. 01/64, dated 25.02.2022 “On the implementation by the Republic of Kosovo of the decisions of the Council of the European Union and the United States of America, to impose sanctions on the Russian Federation and Belarus, in relation to the situation in Ukraine”.
-Amending and supplementing the Government Decision No. 05/121, dated January 25, 2023 for the appointment of members of the Governing Council of the National Qualifications Authority. According to the decision, two members of the Council who resigned from this Council are replaced.
-Preliminary decision for expropriation for public interest of the real estate of the owners and owners of interest which are affected by the realization of the Project “Construction of the Photovoltaic Park”.
-Preliminary Decision on expropriations for public interest of immovable properties which are necessary for the realization of “Infrastructural Projects for Public Interest”, in the Municipality of Leposaviq and the Municipality of Zubin Potok.
– The initiative for the conclusion of the Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo regarding Security Measures for the Protection of Classified Information. Our two countries, in order to ensure the legal protection of classified information shared confidentially between the two countries, enter into this agreement which was approved today.
-The initiative for the conclusion of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany represented by (GIZ) for the “Project for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship”.
– The concept-document for the Electronic Communications Code, which analyzes the current situation in this field and recommends the drafting of a new Law on Electronic Communications, which will address new developments in this field. The general objective of this Draft Concept document is to increase the competitiveness of businesses/entrepreneurs of electronic communications networks and services, especially digital businesses.
-The decision to recommend to the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, to dismiss the PRB member, Mrs. Kimete Gashi, who led the panel that made the harmful decision to import insulin into the Republic of Kosovo.
