Today, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed the new ambassador of the Netherlands to Kosovo, Karin Boven.
In this first meeting between them, the Prime Minister congratulated her on her new position, as he thanked her for the continuous support and contribution of the Netherlands to Kosovo in the liberation and development and for the support in the membership in the Council of Europe. He added that Kosovo intends to become a member of the EU and NATO, joining the Netherlands and many other allied and partner states.
Together, the prime minister and the ambassador emphasized the good bilateral relations between Kosovo and the Netherlands and the commitment to their further deepening and strengthening.
Prime Minister Kurti introduced the ambassador to the socio-economic and democratic progress of the country, which has been proven in the last three years also by indicators, measurements and positive international rankings.
