At the Prime Minister’s Office, this afternoon, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, welcomed the family members of the well-known Albanian writer and researcher from Durrës, Moikom Zeqo.
With his wife Lida Miraj and son Epidamn Zeqo, they evoked memories of the late Mr. Zeqo, who was given his last farewell in June 2020. Mrs. Miraj and Epidamni, both authors themselves, presented the Prime Minister with their author’s books together with a book by Moikom Zeqo, which Prime Minister Kurti accepted with pleasure.
The writer Moikom Zeqo, in addition to being a successful author, was also the Minister of Culture, Member of Parliament and Director of the National Museum of History in Tirana. Next year he would celebrate his 75th birthday.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked the family members for the visit and said that the memory of Moikom will always live on through his books, works, words and advice.
