The author of the book “Under a Feathered Sky: The Untold Story of NATO’s Role in Newly Independent Kosovo”, Ade Clewlow, was a guest of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.
He served as an officer in the British Army and a liaison officer for the Kosovo Protection Corps (KPC). Through his book, which has now been translated and is also available in Albanian at the Artini bookstore, he recounts the challenges and difficulties of the post-war period, from state-building to the transition to the Kosovo Security Forces.
Prime Minister Kurti praised the role and contribution of Ade Clewlow, not only during that period, but also today, through the narration of his experiences and the description of the details and moments that characterized the state-building stages, while the book also offers a presentation and perspective on the functioning and role of the international community in Kosovo.
The conversation between them continued in the broader context of geopolitical developments in the world and the security situation. Whereas, with regard to the region in particular, the ongoing oppression of Albanians in Presheva, Medvedja and Bujanovac was also addressed.
