Prime Minister Kurti was welcomed by the Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Refik Lendo

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, continued his official meetings in Sarajevo with the Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, General Refik Lendo, with whom they discussed relations between the two countries and the possibilities for increasing and deepening cooperation.

Prime Minister Kurti thanked Vice President Lendo for the hospitality of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo. He informed him about the preparations that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo are making for the start of the implementation of the Berlin Process agreement for the movement of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina with ID cards towards Kosovo, starting from January 1, 2025. He stressed the importance of Bosnia and Herzegovina ratifying this agreement as soon as possible so that its implementation by both parties can begin.
Vice President Lendo thanked Prime Minister Kurti and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for the decision regarding free movement with ID cards and expressed the hope that his country would also implement a reciprocal measure for Kosovo citizens in the near future.

During the conversation, inter-institutional cooperation in achieving common objectives regarding membership in the European Union and NATO, and for common instruments and platforms that would enable increased cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, education and security, was also discussed.
