As part of his visit to North Macedonia, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was received in a meeting by the Mayor of the Municipality of Tetova, Bilall Kasami. In the meeting, the prime minister was accompanied by the deputy ambassador of Kosovo in North Macedonia, Prindon Sadriu and the deputy minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Hysen Durmishi.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked Mayor Kasami for the invitation and hospitality organized to him in the city of Tetova, while informing him about the developments and the political and economic situation in our country.
Local politics and governance were also discussed, with special emphasis on the importance of the road project connecting Prizren and Tetova, as well as the cooperation of the municipalities around Mount Sharr, especially Tetova and Prizren in the field of tourism.
During his stay in Tetova, Prime Minister Kurti, together with the mayor of this municipality, will participate in the inauguration of the new road that connects the village of Sellcë and the village of Vicë, which is expected to increase the mountain tourism capacities of Tetova and bring Tetova closer to Prizren.
