The visit to Ireland by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, continued with the meeting with the Minister of State for European Affairs, Peter Burke.
Bilateral relations, European integration and membership in the Council of Europe were the main topics of the meeting.
Prime Minister Kurti expressed his gratitude for Ireland’s continuous hospitality and support in the integration processes and Kosovo’s membership in international organizations.
He spoke especially about the democratic reforms during the government so far, the results of which have been supported by the reports of important and reliable international organizations, and about the Government’s objectives for 2024 in the context of European integration.
Special emphasis was given to the request for the removal of EU measures towards Kosovo and the opportunity that the EU Growth Plan presents for each of the six countries of the Western Balkans.
