The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was received in New York by the Prince of Kuwait, Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al Sabah, within the High Level Week of the United Nations General Assembly.
In this meeting, Prime Minister Kurti was accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Liza Gashi, as well as the Consul General of Kosovo in New York, Blerim Reka.
Prime Minister Kurti and Prince Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al Sabah of Kuwait talked about the further strengthening of bilateral relations, the possibilities of expanding cooperation and increasing investments.
Initially, on behalf of the Republic of Kosovo, the prime minister thanked Kuwait for its continuous support to our country.
Next, as the progress that Kosovo has known in recent years was discussed, the prime minister mentioned the main indicators that reflect economic development, such as the average of 6.2% of economic growth, which was also greeted by the Prince of Kuwait, congratulating our country for the developmental steps towards the economic advancement of the country.
They also talked about the investment potential in the country and the possibility of expanding the investments of companies from Kuwait to Kosovo in areas such as renewable energy, agriculture and infrastructure.
Prime Minister Kurti invited Kuwaiti companies to come invest and expand their scope in Kosovo by operating in a safe business environment and added the possibility of holding an investor forum for businesses in Kosovo.
