Prime Minister Kurti was received by the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić

In Sarajevo, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was received by the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić.

Relations between the two countries, economic cooperation, new opportunities and ways to increase trade, cultural and educational exchanges on the one hand, and recent developments in the region and regional cooperation on the other hand were the key topics of the meeting.

The Prime Minister informed Prime Minister Nikšić that from January 1 next year, citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to travel to Kosovo with identity cards, as foreseen in the agreement signed in Berlin in November 2022 within the framework of the Berlin Process. He called for Bosnia and Herzegovina to ratify this agreement as soon as possible so that citizens of the Republic of Kosovo can travel freely with ID cards to this Western Balkan country.

In today’s meetings, Prime Minister Kurti was accompanied by the third Deputy Prime Minister, Emilja Rexhepi, Ambassador Martin Berishaj and the staff of the Prime Minister.
