The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku, traveled from Peja to Deçan to see up close the works being carried out in the construction of the Semi-Olympic Swimming Pool. There, Prime Minister Kurti was informed about the dynamics of the work and details of the project. He thanked the workers and project managers for their commitment, wishing them successful work.
The Semi-Olympic Swimming Pool project will cost just over 2 million euros. The dimensions of the pool will be 25m x 14m and there will be a total of six swimming lanes. The project is being implemented within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Municipality of Deçan. This swimming pool is part of the Government’s, namely MCYS’s, investments in sports infrastructure, within the framework of organizing the Prishtina 2030 Mediterranean Games.
During his stay in Deçan, the Prime Minister also visited the building of the Youth Center in Deçan, which was inaugurated in 2023 and which was built with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
