The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, made his next visit to the businesses in the country at the “Top Soft Papers” factory in Llapllaselle, Graçanica Municipality, owned by Burim Karaqica. Prime Minister Kurti said it was an honor to visit this successful manufacturing company together with Minister Murati.

“They started with business six years ago, the first two years were trading and then they started in the production of toilet paper, and in which case, they managed to produce all their production in the market and sell it. They have 24 workers who work in two shifts, while the machinery uses technology from Turkey, Italy and Greece”, he emphasized, also announcing that this factory is also a beneficiary of measure 2.1, i.e. investment loan subsidy in the total amount of 450 thousand euros.

Small and medium-sized businesses, according to the Prime Minister, are the focus of our government because they bear the burden of the largest employment in the Republic of Kosovo in the private sector, but of course not only that.

The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the owner Burim Karaqica for today’s hospitality, but also for explaining the production process and for his willingness to increase his own production, which helps him as an entrepreneur, but of course also the economy of Kosovo through the taxes this business pays the state and increases the budget, but as he pointed out, also through the increase in employment that reduces the social burden for our state.

Meanwhile, Minister Murati said that the Government is committed to supporting manufacturing businesses and this was also the goal of measure 2.1. from which this business has benefited in the expansion of production capacities. He added that he was pleased to hear that all the production of this business is sold in the market and that it is only a matter of production capacity to start exporting because the demand already exists.

The complete statement of the Prime Minister:

We are here in the Top Soft Papers factory with the owner Burim Karaqica. We had the honor to, together with the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murat, visit the workers near the machines in this successful manufacturing enterprise.

They started with business six years ago, the first two years were trading and then they started in the production of toilet paper, in which case all their production they managed to produce and sell it in the market. They have 24 workers who work in two shifts, while the machinery is with technology from Turkey, Italy and Greece and they are also beneficiaries of measure 2.1, i.e. investment loan subsidy in the total amount of 450 thousand euros for which 20 percent based on this measure of the package for economic revival has benefited this successful business.

Small and medium-sized businesses are the focus of our government because they are the ones that carry the burden of the largest employment in the Republic of Kosovo in the private sector, but of course not only that. We thank the owner Burim Karaqica for this hospitality but also for explaining the production process and for his willingness to increase his own production which helps him as an entrepreneur but also the economy of Kosovo through the taxes that the state makes from this business and increases the budget but also through the increase in employment that reduces the social burden for our state.

Thank you very much and I wish you even greater success in the future.
