On the morning of the Eid al-Fitr holiday, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with Deputy Prime Minister Emilija Rexhepi, Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, and Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku, visited the Islamic Community of Kosovo, where they were welcomed by Mufti Naim Tërnava.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister congratulated the believers on Eid al-Fitr, wishing those fasting an accepted fast. He also expressed gratitude for the role of ICK in helping those in need and strengthening the value of solidarity and mercy.
“Happy Eid al-Fitr. Happy Eid al-Fitr to all! May God accept from those who fast and a special gratitude for the social aspect of the Islamic Community of Kosovo that helps the poor, those who are in difficult situations in various ways and thus we demonstrate solidarity, mercy for dignity and prosperity for all, without distinction”, he said.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo highly appreciates and values the role, contribution and commitment of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, led by Mufti Naim Tërnava, in all stages of development, progress, resistance, liberation and independence of our country.
During this visit, the Prime Minister also commemorated the 37 martyrs of the Kosovo Liberation Army, who come from the ranks of imams, Muslim clerics of the Islamic Community of Kosovo.
