On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla Schwarz, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo for Minority Affairs and Human Rights, Emilija Rexhepi, the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu and the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku, today visited the Islamic Community of Kosovo, where they were welcomed by mufti Naim Tërnava.
In marking this day, Prime Minister Kurti congratulated all believers and emphasized that the month of Ramadan is a month of sacrifice and solidarity, as he underlined that solidarity and sacrifice are kindnesses that bring prosperity.
He also thanked the Islamic Community of Kosovo, headed by mufti Tërnava, for the role, contribution and cooperation.
This spring, which this year also coincides with the Eid al-Fitr holiday, the Prime Minister highlighted that every day we are commemorating the 25th anniversary of the terrible massacres committed on the people of Kosovo, as well as the glorious battles of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
On this blessed and important holiday day for all believers, Prime Minister Kurti commemorated the 37 imams who were martyrs of the nation, in the last war in Kosovo.

The month of Ramadan was a month of sacrifice and solidarity, and we all know from experience and history that solidarity and sacrifice are kindnesses that bring prosperity.
In this spring, for every day we are commemorating the 25th anniversary of the terrible massacres committed on our people, in our country, but also the glorious battles of the Kosovo Liberation Army. Therefore, on this occasion, 37 hoxhallars, imams, who are martyrs of the nation from the last war, should be commemorated.
