The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received the Special Representative of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Miroslav Lajčák.
The meeting discussed the further progress of the negotiation process in Brussels, and preparations for the next meetings within the dialogue for the full normalization of relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia.
Prime Minister Kurti reiterated that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo remains committed to the general framework of the legally binding agreement, an agreement, which brings full normalization, because it is centered on mutual recognition.
During the meeting, the report of the European Commission on Kosovo, received yesterday, was highlighted as significantly better than last year and as one of the best reports in the region. It was said that this report clearly shows the commitment of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to the EU agenda and proves the achievements in many areas, which have moved a step higher in the progress ladder.
They talked about current issues, as well as the necessity of implementing the energy agreement, which eventually leads to the payment of electricity in the northern part of Kosovo
