After the activities marking the anniversary of the fall of the hero, Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, paid homage near the grave of the hero Dr. Lec Leci-Gradica, in the cemetery of martyrs in Marina of Skenderaj.
On the 26th anniversary of the fall, Dr. Lec Leci was commemorated and appreciated by Prime Minister Kurti for his service and sacrifice during the last war in Kosovo, with his professional assistance as a member of Brigade 114 – Fehmi Lladrovci, in the Operative Zone of Drenica, medical staff.
He, as one of the first doctors in Drenica, came to the aid of the KLA soldiers, offering them medical assistance during the military operations they undertook against the occupying forces, until seeing that the needs increased, with the help of his family and fellow citizens , founded the Military Hospital in Gradica, where many interventions from all medical fields were performed.
The doctor of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Lec Leci, died heroically on September 24, 1998 in the line of duty, helping to heal wounded citizens in the mountains of Qyqavica.
