The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, continued the homage and honors in Marinë, at the Memorial Complex and at the grave of Commander Ilaz Kodra, on the 26th anniversary of his fall.
Ilaz Kodra, commander of the 114th Brigade, “Fehmi Lladrovci”, Drenica Operational Zone, fell heroically on 30 April 1999 in the fighting to protect the homeland and the civilian population against Serbian forces.
Prime Minister Kurti also honored the 42 martyrs, led by Commander Ilaz Kodra.
On this anniversary of the Serbian massacres in Kosovo, we do not forget the crimes of the past and the sacrifice made for freedom.
Glory to Commander Ilaz Kodra, his comrades-in-arms, and all the fallen and martyrs of the nation.
