Fushe Kosove, 21 April 2025
The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by members of the government cabinet, paid homage to the martyrs’ cemetery in Fushe Kosove, in honor and memory of the 16 martyrs of the Mirena family.
On 21 April 1999, the Serbian armed forces separated the 16 men and boys of the Mirena family from their families. Seven years later, in 2006, they were found in the mass grave in Batajnica, Belgrade, from which a total of 744 Kosovo Albanians were exhumed.
