Drenas, April 30, 2025
The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with deputies from the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, paid homage in Gllobar, Vërboc and Shtutica in Drenas, in honor and commemoration of the fallen and martyrs killed in these villages and surrounding areas by the police and military forces of the Serbian state apparatus.
During the war in these areas, 276 Albanians were brutally killed. They gave their lives and sacrificed everything they had for the freedom of the country. Prime Minister Kurti expressed deep respect for their deeds and their sublime sacrifice.
We will always remember and commemorate the fallen and martyrs in Globar, Vërboc, Shtutica and the surrounding areas, so that we never forget how great the price of freedom was and how immense the contribution and sacrifice.
