The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was welcomed today by the Mayor of Podujeva, Shpejtim Bulliqi, at the Podujeva Municipality building.
The meeting took place on the eve of the laying of the cornerstone of the Affordable and Social Housing buildings in this municipality. Mayor Bulliqi described this project as one of the largest capital projects in the municipality he leads and which provides a solution to the housing issue for two important social categories, youth and social cases. He expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure and the central level in general for the continuous support they have given to Podujeva.
Mayor Bulliqi informed Prime Minister Kurti about the work of the municipality as well as the plans for this year. He, together with some of the municipal directors, also made a presentation of the projects implemented so far and those that are currently being implemented.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked him for the hospitality and congratulated Mayor Bulliqi and his team for the good work and the numerous projects in the service of citizens.
