The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted the President of the Pontifical Academy for Life, Monsignor Vincenzo Paglia.
In a friendly meeting, accompanied by the Ambassador of Norway in Kosovo, Jens Erik Grøndahl, the importance of religious freedom was discussed.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the Republic of Kosovo is a secular state and that the Constitution of Kosovo and the legal framework provide freedom and extended guarantees for the exercise of religion in accordance with the European Convention on Human Rights.
The Prime Minister also announced the progress of Kosovo in these more than two years of governance in advancing democracy and increasing economic opportunities that contribute to the well-being of citizens of all communities.
Monsignor Paglia expressed that he is full of hope when he sees the advancement of Kosovo in these years and the progress achieved by emphasizing the protection of religious freedoms and harmony.
