The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and today in the meeting he had with the Albanian deputy in the Parliament of Serbia, Shaip Kamberi, talked about the current political trends.
The Prime Minister spoke about this week’s high-level dialogue meeting in Brussels and the position of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.
Meanwhile, Deputy Kamberi informed the Prime Minister about the latest developments in the Preshevo Valley. He emphasized that, together with the Bosnian SDA deputies, he initiated five draft laws, among which he for the protection of the rights and freedoms of minorities; for the headquarters and territory of the courts; for changing the law on the use of national symbols; for the amendment of the Parliament Regulation so that the minority lists have the possibility of creating a parliamentary group with three MPs instead of five as required for the centrist parties, as well as the draft resolution on Srebrenica.
Mr. Kamberi emphasized that unfortunately these initiatives are being hindered by the head of the Serbian parliament by not being included in the agenda even to be discussed.
The Prime Minister congratulated MP Kamberi for his commitment and determination and offered him full support for the affirmation of the position of Albanians in Presheva, Medvegja and Bujanoc.
