Prime Minister Kurti laid the foundation stone of the Family Medicine Center in Gjilan

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, laid the foundation stone of the Family Medicine Center, in the Arbëria neighborhood, in Gjilan.

It is a pleasure to be in Gjilan today on the occasion of the inauguration of the cornerstone of the Family Medicine Center, here in the Arbëria neighborhood, a neighborhood which, has long needed a Family Medicine Center, for public health, for patients, but also for the doctors and nurses, who will serve and take care here, said the prime minister.

Therefore, in addition to being an investment in the health infrastructure, the Prime Minister assessed this project as an investment in the health of the citizens. All those who are sick or patients will have the right conditions in a total space of 373 square meters, where the care of our doctors and nurses will be provided, he said.

The laying of the foundation stone of the new QMF was done together with the Mayor of the Municipality of Gjilan, Mr. Alban Hyseni, the Ambassador of Qatar to Albania, His Excellency Ali bin Hamad Al Marri and the director of Qatar Charity, Mr. Esam Dabab, in the presence of representatives of central and local institutions and health staff.

The Prime Minister sincerely thanked His Excellency Ali bin Hamad Al Marri and the director of Qatar Charity, Mr. Esam Dabab, for the support, for the donation, for making this foundation stone possible. He also thanked the mayor of the municipality, Mr. Alban Hyseni, for the preparatory work, to reach this day to lay the foundation stone and to inaugurate the beginning of the work towards the construction of this Family Medicine Center in Gjilan.

This project, made possible thanks to the co-financing between the Municipality of Gjilan and Qatar Charity, in addition to the impact on improving the lives of the citizens of Kosovo, was also considered as concrete evidence of the friendship between the Republic of Kosovo and Qatar.
