The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted in the meeting Mr. Ismet Krasniqi, Mr. Milaim Kelmendi and Mr. Besim Haliti from the Olympic Committee of Kosovo, as well as representatives of the Municipality of Prishtina, headed by Mayor Rama.
The meeting was held as a continuation of the meetings related to the organization of the 2030 Mediterranean Games.
All parties agreed that the partnership between the institutions and the close cooperation bring successful organization of the Mediterranean Games. The next steps in the organizational and legal sense are under agreement, with basically close coordination between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo with the other signatories of the contract in Crete, the Olympic Committee and the Municipality of Pristina.
The successful organization of the 2023 Mediterranean Games is a national interest, therefore all parties expressed readiness for full efficiency through immediate contribution and continued commitment.
