The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted the Minister of Justice of the Kingdom of Denmark, Peter Hummelgaard, as well as the members of the Parliamentary Commission for Legislation.
Accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Justice, Blerim Sallahu, as well as the Ambassador of Kosovo to Denmark, Faruk Ajeti, the Prime Minister informed those present about the achievements of the Republic of Kosovo in various fields, also evidenced by prestigious international organizations such as Freedom House, World Justice Project and Transparency International. He emphasized that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo relies on the principles of the rule of law, political pluralism and human rights, as essential values of a democratic society.
During the meeting, the importance of cooperation between the two states in the field of justice was emphasized, including the expansion of cooperation in the field of trade and direct investments.
The Prime Minister thanked Minister Hummelgaard and the present members of the Danish Parliament for the support of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Republic of Kosovo in its Euro-Atlantic journey.
