After the meeting he held in the morning with the ambassadors of the QUINT countries and the head of the EU in Kosovo, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, yesterday afternoon hosted the ambassadors of the Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium and Finland.
The central topic of the meeting was Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe, the role and precious support of these countries to Kosovo throughout the process, as well as their support in the meeting of the committee of ministers, in line with the vote of the Parliamentary Assembly last month.
The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the ambassadors for the unconditional support of their countries throughout the process.
Kosovo is the only European democracy that is outside the Council of Europe. Membership based on common merits and values brings benefits to all citizens of Kosovo, especially non-majority communities, as well as contributes to democracy, peace and stability in the region.
