At his invitation, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue, Besnik Bislimi, welcomed today in a meeting the ambassadors, chargés-de-affaires, heads of diplomatic missions and deputy ambassadors accredited to Kosovo to inform them and discuss the kinetic attack of the evening of November 29 in Varaga, Zubin Potok, on critical infrastructure, on the main Ibër-Lepenc canal.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that the purpose of this attack was to damage the production of electricity and water supply in most of the country, being the third attack in 72 hours against our Republic, after those of November 26 and 28 at the police station in Zveçan and near the building of this Municipality.

Prime Minister Kurti said that we have seen a similar attack on critical infrastructure a few days ago against the critical infrastructure of Ukraine, which was attacked by Russian missiles. He added that indications show that the attack was carried out by professional groups and individuals supported and directed by Serbia.

He informed the diplomats present that the Police are conducting investigations, while suspects related to the attack and those responsible for its execution have already been arrested, as well as evidence and material evidence, including weapons, explosives, uniforms and emblems of Russian military units. The Prime Minister underlined that criminals and terrorists will face justice, with the power of the just law of the democratic and independent Republic of Kosovo.

He also spoke about the importance of the extradition and arrest of the master criminal and master terrorist Milan Radoićić, who continues to be free in Serbia, organizing and planning, with the support of official Belgrade and President Aleksandar Vučić, continuous attacks on the Republic of Kosovo. Serbia continues to support terrorist groups with weapons, finances and logistics, which led to other attacks following the attack in Banjska, including the latest terrorist act in the Iber-Lepenc canal.

The Prime Minister also expressed his gratitude to all international partners for their support for the Republic of Kosovo.
