The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, last night hosted a dinner for the delegation of the Regional Assembly of Europe, part of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie (APF), headed by the Belgian senator Anne Lambelin.
He once again welcomed the deputies and senators of the various parliaments of the European region to Kosovo. Emphasizing common values and highlighting good relations with francophone countries, especially in culture, in honor of the guests, during this dinner there was also a selected musical program with works by well-known French and Albanian composers, which were performed by artists, Visar Kuçi on violin and Lirika Pula on piano.
The Regional Assembly of Europe yesterday and today in Pristina is conducting the work of the 36th session. In 2022, the Assembly of Kosovo has advanced the status to associate member in the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie. The Republic of Kosovo is also an associate member of the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF) since 2018. In 2026, when the next OIF summit will be held, we aim to apply to become a full member of this international organization.
