The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today held a telephone conversation with the Senior Advisor of the US Department of State, Derek Chollet, as a continuation of maintaining a regular communication, especially now on the eve of Monday’s meeting in Brussels.
During this conversation, the Prime Minister confirmed his position on the European proposal as a good basis for further talks towards the normalization of relations.
For normal, European and good neighborly relations, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that in addition to mutual recognition at the center of the agreement, we must also consider the rights of national minorities.
The Prime Minister thanked Mr. Chollet for the support throughout the dialogue process and the constant attention of the United States of America, especially Mr. Chollet personally.
During this conversation, Mr. Chollet was informed by the Prime Minister that today in Kosovo, together with 12 Ukrainian journalists, we have marked the first anniversary of the aggression by commemorating the victims but also the righteous liberation war of the Ukrainian people.
