The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, participated last night and awarded the main award “Vjosa Berisha” for the best Balkan film, in the award ceremony at the 15th edition of PriFest, which was held in “Zahir Pajaziti” Square, in Prishtina.
In the 15th edition of this festival, Prime Minister Kurti congratulated the organizers and volunteers, artists and art lovers, authors and spectators who are keeping “PriFest” so special and magnificent.
Before handing out the award for the best Balkan film, he said that “Vjosa Berisha’s zeal, creativity and kindness had no price, but this festival now has a prize named after Vjosa Berisha for the best Balkan film”. And added that in an impressive competition the winners for the best Balkan film award “Vjosa Berisha”, are two films: “Red Goddess”, divided between the films “Toka brenda meje” by Fisnik Maxville, Kosovo/Switzerland, and “Blaga’s Lessons” by Stephan Komandarev, Bulgaria.

Good evening everyone,
Allow me to congratulate the organizers and volunteers, artists and art lovers, authors and spectators who are keeping “PriFest” so special and magnificent, even now that Vjosa Berisha is no longer with us, even now that Vjosa Berisha is with us.
The diligence, creativity and kindness of Vjosa Berisha had no price, but this festival now has an award named after Vjosa Berisha for the best Balkan film, and in an impressive competition the winners for the best Balkan film award “Vjosa Berisha” there are two movies. So, “Red Goddess” is divided between the films “Toka brenda meje” by Fisnik Maxville, Kosovo/Switzerland, and “Blaga’s Lessons” by Stephan Komandarev, Bulgaria.
