Prime Minister Kurti attended the IMPACT 2025 conference

The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, stayed today in Poznan, Poland, where, at the invitation of the organizers, he participated in the IMPACT 2025 conference, which this year marks its 10th edition.

Yesterday evening, he was at the dinner hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Radosław Sikorski, and the director of the conference, Sławomir Sierakowski, where he had the opportunity to talk with the Polish Minister Sirkoski, Ms. Anne Applebaum, as well as the former US Secretary of State, John Kerry. The Prime Minister also met with the Polish Nobel laureate Olga Tokarczych, with whom he talked about politics, culture and literature. The Prime Minister informed Ms. Tokarczych about the translation of many of her works into Albanian. During the dinner, the Prime Minister also spoke with historian Timothy Snyder, and with the Polish thinker and former political prisoner Adam Michnik, whom he had met at the Wyborcza Newspaper in Warsaw in October 2024.

While today in the morning, he participated in the opening of the conference that began with the address of the Polish Minister, Sikorski. As part of the conference, the Prime Minister conducted an interview for the English-language service of the Polish public television TVP world.

During his stay in Poznan, the Prime Minister also met with the former honorary consul of Albania there, the historian, ethnologist and Albanologist, Jaroslaw Rosochacki, who began his interest in the Albanian and Kosovo issue in the 70s. Mr. Rosochacki made his first visit to Kosovo in 1978, while the last time in Kosovo was in 2022. The Prime Minister thanked him for his work and contribution dedicated to our country.

Prime Minister Kurti returns to Kosovo today during the day to welcome to the government building the President of the European Council, António Costa, who is visiting the Republic of Kosovo.
