The meetings in New York, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, continued with the Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon Mitchell.
In this first conversation of theirs, Prime Minister Kurti first expressed Kosovo’s gratitude to the government of Grenada which had recognized the declaration of independence 11 years ago during the Week of High Level Meetings of the United Nations General Assembly. During the meeting, the common interest was expressed about the opportunities that lead to economic and commercial cooperation, foreign investments, and promotion of tourism. It was also discussed about the role and importance that the diaspora has for both countries, reforms in education and the need to connect education with the labor market. Both prime ministers emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two countries in support of each other in the face of global challenges.
In order to concretize these opportunities for cooperation, Prime Minister Kurti invited a high-level delegation to visit Kosovo to explore the potential of areas of common interest.
