During the day, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari visited the “Fruton” company and factory in the village of Suhodoll, owned by Kamer Gashi.
This factory has about 300 employees, of which 30 are in production. In addition to Albanians, there are also Serbs and Roma employed there. They produce 1 ton of dried fruit per day and export approximately half of it abroad.
Kamer Gashi has returned from Hanover, Germany, after 42 years of work there in gastronomy, to start this production activity in Kosovo, which exports apple chips from Kovrraga, Istog, from Greece and Cyprus to Denmark.
With the support of our Agency for Investment and Enterprise Support in Kosovo, within the framework of the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, it has participated in the international fruit fair Fruit Logistica in Berlin for two consecutive years.
Wishing them success in their work, Prime Minister Kurti thanked Mr. Gashi, Shpërtim Gashi, the manager, associates and factory workers for the hospitality.
