The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the acting Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu, Deputy Ministers Hysen Durmishi and Jeton Raka, and Members of Parliament Arbër Rexhaj and Artan Abrashi, inaugurated today the bridge in Rogovë of Has.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Kurti thanked the residents of Rogovë for their warm hospitality and congratulated them on the bridge over the Drin River with a total length of approximately 134 meters, which connects the Has area with the Gjakova-Prizren road.
“At the end of 2023, the contract was signed, in April 2024 the works began and we thank the economic operator who completed everything within a year. And here we are now in April 2025, we are putting into use this bridge which is 10 meters wide, of which 6.5 meters are for vehicles, and 3.5 meters, 1.75 meters on both sides, are for pedestrians”, declared the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Kurti described this long-delayed bridge as good news for all residents of Rogovë and those who visit it.
In the end, he expressed gratitude to both the economic operator who managed to complete the works within a year, as well as to the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, as well as all citizens.
Meanwhile, the acting Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu, stated that the Ministry has been constantly monitoring these works and their completion is an extremely important achievement since not only Rogova, but the entire Has area, is connected to the Gjakova – Prizren road.
As Deputy Minister Hysen Durmishi said, there have been continuous concerns and requests from residents for the repair of this bridge, which for several years has been the responsibility and budget of the Municipality, therefore as Minister, he said that they have been forced to take over the construction of this bridge which was finalized and inaugurated today.
The value of this project was 989 thousand euros and has been a long-standing request of the residents of Has and the surrounding areas.

We are here together with the Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu, and with Deputy Ministers Hysen Durmishi and Jeton Raka, we are also with Members of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Arbër Rexhaj and Artan Abrashi, but also with colleagues from the Ministry, the Prime Minister’s Office, and first and foremost with the residents of Rogova.
Thank you very much for this warm hospitality and congratulations to everyone on this bridge over the Drin River, which connects the Has area with the Gjakova-Prizren road. Congratulations!

So, in a way, approximately two-thirds are for vehicles, one-third is for pedestrians. The total length is about 134 meters and I believe that this bridge, so much delayed, was finally realized and it is good news for you, and for all those who will go to and from Rogovë.
