After participating in the graduation ceremony of the Kosovo Police cadets, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, together with the director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, visited the municipality of Leposaviq with the occasion of the inauguration of the renovations at the police substation, in the village of Soqanicë, Leposaviq Municipality.
In order to facilitate services for citizens without distinction, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that the inauguration of this police substation is the state’s contribution to the citizen through the rule of law and peace and security for all.
A renovation so essential for the citizens, which constitutes an investment worth 46 thousand 400 euros, from one room in miserable conditions, has already been transformed into a building with three rooms and two bathrooms in 75 square meters, which has good and dignified conditions for the work of our Police.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked the Minister Sveçla, the Mayor of the Municipality, Hetemi and the Director of Police, Hoxha for their work and contribution, he also expressed his gratitude and acknowledgment to the constructors who managed to finalize the works before the scheduled deadline.
He called today a good day for the citizens and the Kosovo Police, for security and peace, since 448 police cadets graduated in the morning, while in the afternoon the inauguration of investments in the police substation was held, which is the state’s contribution to the citizen through the rule of law and peace and security for all, and the provision of the highest quality services for all of them.

We are here with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, with the Director of Police, Gazmend Hoxha, and with the Mayor of Leposaviq Municipality, Lulzim Hetemi.
Here in Soqanicë i Leposaviqi, on the occasion of the inauguration by cutting the red ribbon of the police substation, of a renovation so essential that I could say reconstruction of this building which now has good and dignified conditions for the work of our Police.
Once there was only one room in miserable conditions, now there are three rooms, two bathrooms in 75 square meters and when there are such good conditions for the police, of course this is directly reflected in the quality of services provided to citizens without distinction.
The police here will be multi-ethnic and they will serve the citizens regardless of ethnicity, color, age, gender or religion.
I thank both the Minister, the Mayor of the Municipality and the Director of Police, as well as the economic operator, the constructors who completed this repair, renovation or rather reconstruction before the deadline with a total investment of 46 thousand 400 euros.
Today is a good day for the citizens and the Kosovo Police, for security and peace. In the morning, 448 cadets joined our Police, meanwhile, here at noon we are inaugurating this police substation, which is the state’s contribution to the citizen through the rule of law and peace and security for all.
