The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo for Minority Affairs and Human Rights, Emilija Rexhepi, has conducted a two-day official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the invitation of the Parliamentary Group of the Party for Democratic Action (SDA) and at the request of Deputy Shemsedin Mehmetovic.
During this visit, Deputy Prime Minister Rexhepi, in addition to the meeting with Shemsedin Mehmetović, deputy in the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was also received in a meeting by Dino Konaković, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zukan Helez, Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Benjamina Karić, mayor of the municipality of Sarajevo.
The main topic of the meetings during this visit of Deputy Prime Minister Rexhepi was the ratification of the Agreement on Free Movement with Paper Notifications in the Western Balkans and the recognition of identification documents, as part of the Berlin Process for the countries of the Western Balkans. They also discussed the possibilities of strengthening cultural and educational ties between the Republic of Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
