Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi welcomed a delegation from the European Parliament

The First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, welcomed a delegation from the European Parliament, which is monitoring and observing the electoral process in Kosovo, in a meeting today. At this meeting, the delegation was led by the MEP from Portugal, Marta Temido, who is also the chair of the Portuguese delegation of the Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament since last year. Also present were MEPs from Croatia, Germany, Italy, France and Belgium.

While informing the delegation of the successes and achievements of the government during this government mandate, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi emphasized, among other things, economic growth, its redistribution towards citizens, increasing the minimum wage, reducing unemployment, incentive policies for women and advancing in European integration.

He also spoke about tomorrow’s elections and the campaign that has been going on this month. He emphasized the importance of the next day’s elections, especially in their smooth running, for a democratic and transparent process.

The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the European Parliament for its continued support for Kosovo, especially in its support towards the path to European integration.
