Today, the First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, received in a meeting the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations, at the same time the Regional Director of UNDP for Europe, Ivana Živković.

Together they discussed the government’s cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), where concrete initiatives to improve key sectors and strengthen institutional capacities were mentioned.

The European integration process of Kosovo was also the focus of the meeting, where the deputy prime minister emphasized the government’s work on the Growth Plan, which was approved at the 223rd meeting of the government last week, and the advancement and economic development that the country has known in three and a half years of our government mandate.

The Deputy Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of key reforms for further progress towards full integration in the European Union.

In this meeting, Mrs. Živković was also accompanied by the head of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Kosovo, Nuno Queiros and his deputy, Dudley Tarlton.
