On the International Roma Day, the First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, welcomed the elected member of parliament from the Roma community, the Head of PREBK, Albert Kinolli, and representatives from the Roma community.
He congratulated them on the occasion of this special day, expressing that the International Roma Day is a celebration of Roma history, traditions and culture. He emphasized the government’s commitment to the inclusion of minority communities in the implementation of initiatives aimed at a more rapid development of the state for all communities. Further, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the development of the state should not be done at the expense of minorities but together with them, and this is the position of this government.
Mr. Kinolli expressed heartfelt congratulations for this approach of the government and the good cooperation these years, being optimistic that this cooperation will continue further and will remain strong. He emphasized that both their community and himself as a representative of this community are interested in contributing to the development of Kosovo, seeing it as their home and that of their future generations.
