The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, hosted the new ambassador of Switzerland to Kosovo, Jürg Sprecher, to whom he welcomed him in Kosovo and congratulated him on his new position.
They discussed the excellent relations between the two countries and mutual willingness to strengthen them. The important role of our emigration in Switzerland as a bridge between the two countries was mentioned.
Ambassador Sprecher emphasized that he feels happy to be in Kosovo and that it will contribute to the deepening of cooperation between Kosovo and Switzerland. For his part, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi expressed his gratitude for Switzerland’s continuous support, through various projects and initiatives.
Topics on the dialogue process and the economic development of the country were part of the discussion. Regarding the latter, the deputy prime minister spoke about Kosovo’s positive economic indicators and the potential for growth.
Ambassador Sprecher was accompanied at the meeting by the deputy ambassador of Switzerland in Kosovo, Christoph Fuchs.
