The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, hosted the ECOSOC expert, at the same time the Director of the Lebanese Finance Institute, Lamia Moubayed Bissat.
Expert Bissat expressed her satisfaction that she is in Kosovo and that she is learning more about the history and development of our country. She is in Kosovo on the occasion of the “KosovaPar2023” conference, where the future of Public Administration, its flexibility, stability and digitalization is being discussed, which is being organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi emphasized that public administration reform is a priority of our Government. Ms. Bissat appreciated this commitment of the Government, saying that the reform of the public administration as a priority is not something that we often notice in different countries, therefore it is to be congratulated.
Further, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi spoke about economic policies and initiatives undertaken by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, with the aim of reducing inequality and equal distribution.
Thanking her for the visit and her encouraging words, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi wished expert Bissat a productive stay in Kosovo. On the other hand, she expressed her admiration for the work being done and readiness for further cooperation.
